I cannot get enough of this fashion forward, power house woman. She is my spirit animal. Tori and her husband are originally from Minnesota but currently live in NYC. Tori knew she wanted to work in the world of fashion marketing and ventured off for school. Tori was our very first intern several summers ago when she was still in college and she has done nothing but make us (and anyone else who meets her) proud with her incredible hustle and zest for life. She, Justin, and their pup made a home there in the city but decided to get married with their friends and family back home in St. Paul.

Being the fashionista that she is, Tori was looking for something unique for her wedding day. She wanted something timeless, form fitting, and elegant for her fall wedding at the Lowertown Event Center in St. Paul.

Tori and her main gal, her mom, Carla, came in for her first shopping visit. We tried some gowns on and chatted at length about what Tori was looking for. With a little scheming, we came up with a design that I would later add to my 2019 bridal collection.

The dress had a sarong style halter top with a low back. Tori loved a warm white so we used a silk crepe for the top and a contrasting glowing silk/wool for the extra long skirt. The dress was designed to transition throughout the night. When dinner and toasts were over, Tori could simply zip off the extra length on the train and head over to the dance floor.

To add a little extra flare, we also created a detachable bow in the back with floor length tails. This custom detail was unique to Tori’s gown.

The wedding day was filled with joy and so much love for this couple, embarking on their new life together. They were surrounded by friends, family, and a killer dancefloor. Tori even changed into our Samantha jumpsuit for the late night grooving.
