Jacqueline's Gown with Dramatic Bow
We are sensing a trend coming. Looks like bows aren’t just for presents. Our gift to you this week is the story of Jacqueline’s customized wedding gown, complete with our dramatic, oversized, silk bow. Jacqueline was such a pleasure to design for. She carefully curated every element of her wedding day and it was an honor to be part of that curation.
We remember when Jacqueline was deciding between gowns, she was looking at the Starling and our Steevie gown. Both were stunning on her and the decision was a hard one. She returned with her trusted friends and mother to make the final choice.
To our surprise, she asked to try on the silk faille removable bow to accompany the Steevie gown. The effect was instant. We all knew this was going to be the gown. What a thrill!
Jacqueline loved the Steevie gown but added just a touch of customization. A little change can go a long way. We changed the skirt from a soft a-line to a column skirt. It showed off her figure and looked perfectly framed with the dramatic bow draped on either side.
During fittings, we always encourage brides to bring accessories and different shoes to try. Jacqueline found the most beautiful shoes, jewelry, and clutch to bring the look together.
Jacqueline and her husband Nate were married in Duluth at the beautiful Greysolon. Their dear friend Jill married them. The ceremony was moving and inclusive and both Jacqueline and Nate said it was their favorite part of the day. Their friend Brooke even wrote, sang, and performed with a few other friends for the ceremony.
After a magical ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a warm reception.
Wishing them a beautiful holiday season together!
